Have attempted once again to include human in evening washing routine. Met with some resistance - human's paw is strangely lacking in fur, and human does not seem to appreciate having it cleaned.

Hmmph. Will sleep on human's arm instead.

Attempt to take over the apartment starting with the bathroom was foiled by human wanting to immerse herself in water. Am going to wash myself in protest.

My human has a new pet, a kind of yeast she calls "Oreo." Not impressive. She feeds it every day - not tuna, so far at least. I will claw her if she gives Oreo my food.

Weather unbearably hot. Will make plans to shed fur coat in order to escape.

My humans have apparently gone insane. They sit in the living room with their typing machine boxes and cackle madly. Their madness has not yet interfered with my feeding schedule, but I am being watchful. I am prepared to escape whenever it becomes necessary.

Knapsack with extra provisions is packed. I know where my humans hide the tuna. Am working on can opener skills.

Have tried to convince ginger cat to come with me, but he is stupid-complacent-lazy and thinks that the humans give us enough food. Not true - there is NEVER enough food. I shall make certain of an unlimited tuna supply for all cats when I am free.
